Manchester United have been given a boost amidst all their injury worries as new signing Leny Yoro has returned to training.
Yoro was seen training with his Manchester United teammates on Wednesday morning for the first time since he suffered an ankle injury in pre-season against Arsenal.
The 18-year-old has not featured competitively for the Red Devils since he joined from Ligue 1 side Lille for £52 million in the summer transfer window.
However he is now close to returning to training and if his recovery is speeded up, he could return for Ruben Amorim’s first game as United manager against Ipswich on November 24.
Estimated return date – Sunday 24 November vs Ipswich Town (A)
Mount Mason
Former Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount is also close to returning after he suffered a head injury in United’s 3-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur at the end of September.
Mount had to be replaced during the match and has been recovering since. He is currently being assessed for United’s Europa League clash against PAOK on Thursday night, but his return is likely to come when they face Leicester City at the weekend.
Expected return date – Sunday 10 November vs Leicester City (H)
