‘Swap And Run’ Fans React ‘Good Business’ As United Offered £67M Arsenal Target In Exchange For Zirkzee


Manchester United have been “offered” Dusan Vlahovic by Juventus in a proposed swap deal with Joshua Zirkzee, according to reports.

Serie A side head coach Thiago Motta coached Zirkzee at Bologna last season and he wants to work with him again.

TalkSPORT claim that Juve are willing to give up Vlahovic in return for the United forward and fans at X believe the club should make the swap:

Why was Vlahovic offered to United?

The Serbia international joined Juventus in the January 2022 transfer window for £67 million but only has eighteen months remaining on his contract in Turin.

With Vlahovic so far refusing to sign a contract extension, the Bianconeri are now considering whether to part with his services.

Other Premier League clubs have been linked with the striker

Juventus actually beat Arsenal to Vlahovic’s signature three years ago but reports at the weekend suggested the Gunners remain interested in the player.

Writing on his X account, AllJuve Journalist Mirko Di Natale said that Mikel Arteta’s team “have made inquiries in recent weeks” into the 24-year-old’s availability.

But this latest change suggests that United will have the best chance of signing Vlahovic. However, it remains to be seen if they are open to trading Zirkzee with attacker.
