Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo may return for the next game after the international break.
The England international is not yet ready to be called up by Lee Carsley meaning he will have an international break to recover before United’s next game against Ipswich Town.
Mainoo has been out of action since the end of September when he suffered a hamstring injury during Manchester United’s 3-0 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur which put Erik Ten Hag’s job in serious danger.
The midfielder could return for Ruben Amorim’s first game on November 24 as he inches closer to returning to full training with the team.
Estimated return date – Sunday 24 November vs Ipswich Town (A)
Harry Maguire
Centre-back Harry Maguire also missed out on an England call-up for Lee Carsley’s final group game as interim England boss before Thomas Tuchel took over the role in January.
The defender is dealing with a calf problem he suffered during United’s 0-0 draw with Aston Villa before the October international break.
He is recovering and still doing individual training to try and return for Ruben Amorim’s first game, he is on a similar timeline to Mainoo.
Estimated return date – Sunday 24 November vs Ipswich Town (A)
